Crunch Time

I’ve hit Christmas apathy. You know, that time between the new, exciting part of the Christmas season and actual Christmas day where you are sick and tired of the songs playing everywhere and just want to get this thing over with already. Yeah, I’m right there. Sick of the holiday baking, decorating, making, and the ridiculous lines at every store, including the grocery store.

I’ve still got quite a number of presents that need to be made. Or replaced by a gift card. I’m steadily giving up on projects because I just don’t care anymore. Doesn’t work so well when you are baking and decorating cookies with a 4-year-old who is just experiencing all the excitement and none of the stress.

Don’t get me wrong, I like the Christmas season and I love giving people gifts. I’m just ready for the day to actually be here so I don’t have to deal with the set up and can just have fun.
