Remember season 2 of X Factor USA? Of course not. There are so many “reality competitions” these days it’s hard to keep track of which show is which, let alone remember a specific season.
Anyway, Bea Miller came in ninth place on that season. She was actually one of my favorites, mostly for her
stubbornness desire to not be molded into the typical teen girl pop star these shows spit out en masse. It seems to have worked out pretty well for her, too.
After elimination, Bea was signed to Hollywood Records. She’s also got a YouTube Channel (warning: she is a teenager on the Internet, there are “bad words” more than occasionally). Which is where she released her new song. Last Monday. I’ve been sucked into the vortex that is the lace baby blanket.
