Free Printable 2021 Calendar Download

Last night I uploaded a Free Printable 2021 PDF Calendar to my Ko-Fi Shop. Click here to go to the download page

It’s got square spots for each date to write in important events and deadlines, and each month name has a pattern in it to color. See the previews below, and the Instagram Reel I made to announce it. Really want to get more creative with the Instagram content this year. Here’s to 2021 being better than 2020!

Polymer Clay Heart Ornaments

I first picked up polymer clay in middle school. I went through pretty much all of the Klutz kits the local Barnes and Noble had to offer, making all different kinds of art projects. I specifially remember the polymer clay set because I made an adorable little mouse “clay doll”, complete with changeable clothes. By that, I mean it was flat, cut-out clay in a more sturdy form of a paper doll.

Recently I grabbed a variety set of Sculpey clay at a Staples that was going out of business. Or a different Staples that was just having a sale on a day I was bored shopping. Either way, I was confused and delighted to find that Staples carried clay and it was something like 30% off.

Most of that clay has been used up fixing things the kids have broken or making beads (which is a great way to keep kids busy for the afternoon), and I recently felt like making more things. So I grabbed another variety pack on a recent trip to JoAnns and set about making heart ornaments.

These heart ornaments are super cute and available on my Ko-Fi Shop and Etsy Store. They are $15 each with free shipping no matter which shop you buy from, but if you buy from my Ko-Fi shop you get access to subscriber content for 30 days which includes exculsive coloring pages, downloads, and videos.

My First VO Credit

A screen shot of the about page of the online game Monsters Vs Fractions showing the vocal talent credits.

I was reminded yesterday to check out whether the online math game I recorded vocals for in the beginning of the year was up, and it is! This is my first credited voice over project, and I am so excited.

The game is Monsters Vs Fractions Episode 2: Food Frenzy, and I voiced the character Ruby. There is also an Episode 1 available that I wasn’t involved in, but is a really good intro to fractions for elementary students. It’s aimed at 3rd-5th grade, but Episode 1 is a really visual intro that I’d say could even work for a 1st or 2nd grader.

If you are looking for something to keep an elementary kid busy over the holidays, this game is free to play and browser-based so it can be played on any computer or device. There is also an app for episode 1 that is available for iPad.

All of this is not an ad, just me sharing something that I’m really excited to have been a part of.
