Surface Pattern Design – Two New Patterns

A digitally drawn repeating pattern of blue, pink, yellow, and white flowers on a background of overlapping green leaves.

I have finally finished two new surface pattern designs, a pile of green leaves and a repeating pattern of flowers on that pile of leaves.

A digitally drawn repeating pattern of overlapping green leaves.

You can grab them as free backgrounds on my Ko-Fi Backgrounds Album by downloading hi-res versions scaled for phone backgrounds or desktop/tablet backgrounds, or you can find them available to screenshot in my Instagram story highlight called “Backgrounds.”

A collage of four photos. The top is a computer mouse pad with the floral pattern. The center left image is a person wearing a dress with the same pattern and black short sleeves. The center right image is an iPhone case with the leaf pattern. And the bottom is a zipper pouch with the leaf pattern.

They are also available on various objects on Redbubble and will be available later on Spoonflower, though you can favorite them now and I think it will alert you when they are available for sale if you have a Spoonflower account.

As for the details, these were drawn on my iPad in the Procreate app.

Catching Up on Illustration Friday

I have been keeping a list of the Illustration Friday topics even though I havent been completing them on time recently. But now that the youngest kiddo I watch is napping two to three hours at a stretch, I’ve had a little more time to catch up. Especially on the ones I’ve chosen to watercolor, since I can take my pan watercolors along with me and do that anywhere. So I thought I would share those watercolor illustrations in a group today.

Materials for all pieces:

  • 4×4 watercolor artist tile
  • Watercolor
  • Micron pen size 03
