I’ve been weaving off and on for a while now. With all the small amounts of yarn left over after knitting and crochet projects, I have plenty of yarn that works for these weavings. It’s a great way to use up the bits that are bigger than scraps, but smaller than what I would need for a bigger project.
I started by focusing on working with the colors I picked, working with texture and different techniques. Then I moved on to trying my hand at designing pictures.
I also like flipping through Hello Hydrangea’s Welcome to Weaving book when I’m starting a new piece.
I decided for my latest piece that I wanted to do a landscape mountain scene. I’m excited to do some more “pictures” in future pieces.
